We are delighted to have Harmony return and share her unique wisdom with us.  This is an opportunity for you to cultivate your sacred cycle sequence.

As women, we experience a lot more fluctuations within a "traditional" Ashtanga Yoga routine and schedule. It is impossible to keep our practice the same from day to day, year to year, depending on our hormonal phase or stages of life.

We have to adapt and adjust our practice every month during our cycle, as well as at other important times like pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause.

In this workshop, we will talk about issues related specifically to women and our hormone health. We'll learn a "sacred moon sequence," which you can integrate and freely adapt during different days or stages of life when you need to give yourself a bit more time to rest and recover.

This workshop is ideal for anyone who is interested in seeing the practice from an expanded view.

Harmony Slater

Harmony Slater is a Certified Ashtanga yoga teacher, holistic life coach and breathwork teacher.

In 2002, she travelled to China to research Buddhist Meditation for her degree, where she lived and practised in several monasteries in remote areas of the countryside. The daily routine of getting up, meditating and chanting was an awakening experience.

For the first time, she understood the interconnection of consciousness. It awakened her to a new way of being.  Harmony attended several ten-day Vipassana meditation retreats, a Buddhist process that reveals unconscious conditioning causing pain in all its forms, and continues with this practice today.

In 2004, she made her first trip to Mysore, to practice and learn Ashtanga yoga under the direct guidance of Sri. K Pattabhi Jois and his grandson R. Sharath Jois.

She then moved to Thailand and began studying Ayurveda and Pranayama directly from Sri O.P Tiwari, who at the time, was head of the Kaivalyadhama Yoga Research Institute. I also continued making annual trips to India and eventually moved there in 2007.

In 2015, she received certification from Sharath Jois blessing her to teach the Ashtanga Yoga method and the Advanced Series.
